"The staff couldn't have been better"

About: Maternity care / 2 West Maternity Maternity care / Delivery suite

(as a service user),

My baby was born at 33 weeks, he was born premature, I was very scared and nervous as this was my first baby.

The staff on 2 West couldn't have been better they were all so reassuring when I was feeling so anxious at this time and they made me relaxed about my stay.

Going to delivery suite, I cannot speak highly enough of all the midwives and just want to say a special thank you to Donna the mifwife we had in the delivery suite having our son for being so caring and helping make me feel at ease.

Firstly congratulations on the birth of your baby. I understand that this must have been a worrying time for you. Thank you for taking the time to provide such lovely feedback. I am delighted to read that you felt reassured throughout your time in hospital, and that staff supported you through this uncertain time.

I will ensure that you feedback is shared with all the team, but with Donna in particular, for making you feel so at ease with the birth of your son.
