"Didn’t take my concerns and symptoms seriously"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Outpatients

(as the patient),

I had an appointment at Glasgow Royal to see HRT doctor after waiting about 18 months. I saw a nurse practitioner, I’m not sayin they don't deserve respect as a professional but I too deserve respect as a patient.

I felt they didn’t take my concerns & symptoms seriously they did say I cud try HRT conti if I got my blood pressure down (Gp nurse says it’s fine now ) I suffer from fibro getting blood pressure taken hurts so that’s probably why it was up at hospital app. Gp nurse used wrist cuff anyway they have given me the patches to try.

But my issue really is why I never saw the consultant, I was offered a much earlier appointment if I wud see someone else but I wanted that consultation.

I’d heard gd stuff about them, they were there in an office as I passed to leave on their own why didn’t I deserve a chat and no follow up either. I’m gutted and confused
