"The staff nurses were amazing"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

My son had injured his arm at football, he is a goal keeper. Steven and another male colleague made my son feel so relaxed and comfortable,  joking about being a goal keeper and what football team he supported.

The staff nurses were amazing, and Steven was great at explaining to Ross what had happened and provided exercises for him.

Excellent job team A&E Monklands

Dear colqlorn,

Thank you for sharing your experience of University Hospital Monklands, Emergency Department.

I am so sorry to hear about your son's injury at football. It can be a worrying time attending hospital with an injury and I am so pleased to hear that Steven and the team were able to put your son at ease and even joke with him about something he obviously enjoys, football. This must have made a real difference to him.

I will be sure to pass on your kind words and praise to Steven and the whole team who I am sure will get a real boost on hearing this.

I hope your son is recovering well.

Kind Regards,

Jenni
