I recently attended the RHC with my little girl, on the advice of my GP, as she had become unwell. We were seen promptly by the triage nurse then asked to wait in the corridor for a cubicle space. The triage nurse meantime initiated care by offering my daughter an ice lolly in a bid to bring her temperature down and encourage some oral intake.
Shortly afterwards we were called to a cubicle and seen by a professional and attentive doctor. I felt listened to and my concerns were fully understood. We attended x-ray, and again, we were greeted warmly and seen promptly.
Shortly afterwards, we were discharged home with 2 courses of antibiotics and my daughter has gone on to make a swift and full recovery. We were even gifted a small colouring set as this was over the Christmas period.
I would like to thank all the staff for their outstanding care and attention. You truly are exceptional and we are very thankful for you all.
