"My whole experience was very positive"

Day surgery endoscopy. I had to attend hospital for colonoscopy in day surgery department . I've had these before and had good and bad experiences.

This time from meeting admin staff who were very welcoming and warm, to every member of staff I met, they were pleasant and showed interest in me as a patient and not just someone on the list .

Throughout the procedure the consultant engaged with me and gave me time to ask questions. My aftercare was another positive experience and I never felt rushed to get ready.

My whole experience was very positive with staff who despite the pressures all staff are under are showing a true positive regard towards patients.

I felt taken care of and left with information written down ( as I had been sedated) about my procedure as well as good aftercare advice .
