My treatment started just before Christmas and it has been first class, could not have been better.   Staff are all helpful and friendly.   They even know your name when you come in for an appointment.    They are also very good about the ‘timings’ of the water drinking which is so important.  They let you know when you arrive how much you have to drink and when you have to finish.   The radiotherapists are all helpful too.  They always ask how you are feeling and if you have any side effects to report.

The waiting room is a friendly place - you get to know the other patients which is nice, but it is very cold.  I have to keep my jacket on!

Car parking is terrible.  I had to wait 15 mins this morning to get a parking space - there were 4 cars in front of me trying to get parked.  This can be quite stressful.

Dear Mini1. thankyou so much for taking the time to give us your feedback, it is very much appreciated. My name is Damian, head of therapeutic radiography and is lovely to hear that you found the service you received 'first class', this is very much what we aim for as a department and I will ensure I pass on these comments to our staff group. I am glad that you felt informed and comfortable with the information you where given as we are fully aware this can be quite a lot as you go through treatment.

I am sorry to hear that you found the waiting room cold during your treatment, I will ensure this gets passed onto the estates department for further investigation. Car parking unfortunately is a real problem for our patients and we now this can be very stressful when having to wait for a space. I will continue to report this issue at organisational meetings to ensure it is kept in discussions.
