"Polite, helpful and professional"

About: Acute Medical Unit / Ward 4 - Acute Medical Receiving

(as the patient),

I was admitted to Ward 4 PRI to receive treatment and IV antibiotics for an infected elbow.

The admission process was quick and efficient and the nursing and care assistant staff on the ward were polite, helpful and professional in executing their work.  Despite there being a number of patients with high demands on their time, they were unfailingly helpful whenever I had a request or question.

I would like to commend the C/N Alexandra for her work rate and attitude to all, especially in trying times with demanding patients.  The consulting doctor, Dr McCormack, was very helpful through clear communication and willingness to explain the care process to be applied in my case.
