I was sent to a&e at the beginning of January by my GP , I arrived at 5 pm and was triaged immediately as I was short of breath , I was taken to resuss and the staff were amazing keeping me calm and talking me through my treatment.
I was then told I was being admitted to female medical 2 days later as there was a bed available on the ward. The staff are unbelievable on female medical, I was looked after by a wonderful nurse named Jessica and in the night a lovely male nurse named Seru, they both made me feel at ease and checked on me regularly as I am visually impaired. Not only were the nurses fantastic but also the care assistants and I feel Louise and Clare are a true asset to the ward . From the domiciliary, care assistants, nurses and doctors they could not do enough for me and made a stressful time a calming, caring experience.
Thank you A&E and Female Medical .
