"The care and treatment I received was first class"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department

(as a service user),

My GP sent me to Hairmyres Hospital to get checked out. The care and treatment I received was first class. The team were excellent as a whole  and looked after me very well. I'd like to single out  health support worker Margaret who went out of her way to keep me happy while I was waiting for a bed. Margaret has a lovely  pleasant  manner and her kind personality shone through.

Thank you for taking the time to provide such lovely feedback. I will share your comments with Margaret and the wider team. Margaret wil be pleased to read that her kind personality shone through.

I apologise that you had to wait for some time before moving from the emergency department to an in patient bed. The pressures on the NHS continue, however staff do go above and beyond to make a difference to patient care.
