"Physiotherapy Care"

Following an acute back injury my GP referred me for a Physio appointment which was eventually offered at the Polyclinic in Banbridge.

I had originally been treated with steroid injections which had reduced pain. However in the interim my strength and mobility had deteriorated and I lacked the ability and confidence to get back to the range of exercise activities which I had previously enjoyed. 

For my rehabilitation I was under the care of Physiotherapist Grainne. She took time to patiently understand my condition and concerns whilst putting me completely as ease. Grainne devised a manageable exercise programme demonstrating each movement and checking that I was doing everything correctly. Over a number of sessions Grainne subsequently developed and extended my exercise programme as I made progress.

Throughout this period I found the service offered to be comprehensive and  allowed me to progress at the correct pace. Grainne was extremely knowledgable and imparted advice in a very genuine and caring manner. 

I now have my life back!
