"The care I received was of the highest quality"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / Surgical Elective Unit

(as the patient),

Just before Christmas, I was admitted to Antrim Area Hospital for the excision of a large neck lipoma. From the moment I entered the hospital until I left the following day, the care I received was of the highest quality, which greatly added to my feeling at ease about the procedure.

I wish to express my sincerest thanks to my surgeon, Mr Valko, not only for performing the operation but also for his reassuring and informative manner, plus the staff in anaesthetics, nursing, pre-op assessment, admin and domestic services for their professional and friendly approach.

I have recovered very quickly from my procedure and have the highest regard for the hospital and the work it does.
