"They went above and beyond in being there"

(as a relative),

I have recently lost my partner and had the absolute fortune of being looked after by Ayr Colorectal Nurses, Rosemary and Stephanie, to say they did their job well is an understatement!

They looked after my partner, myself and our children with the utmost care and compassion and went above and beyond in being there when we needed them, nothing was too much trouble and we were offered multiple services throughout my partners illness to help us.

Sadly my partner passed away recently, but contact did not stop, they have continued to be there as often as needed.

If there is an award for caring and compassionate individuals then these members of staff deserve it, I would be lost without having had them involved in our lives.

Well done girls you are both in my debts forever and wanted you to feel appreciated for what you do.

With apologies for the delay in responding to your lovely feedback, I would like to offer my sincere condolences on the loss of your partner. I would also like to thank you for taking the time to share your care experience with us via Care Opinion, particularly at this sad and difficult time.

It’s often the small things that can make such a different, and I am glad to hear that Rosemary and Stephanie were able to provide such a compassionate and person centred approach to the care provided to both you and your partner.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients and their loved ones and it will be my pleasure to share your kind comments with the wider Colorectal Team and in particular with Rosemary and Stephanie. They will be delighted to know that you felt so well supported by them.
