"I could not be more happy with the service I received"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Gynaecology (Ward 49)

(as a service user),

I recently visited the Emergency Department of the gyn ed ward 49 and QEUH for a cyst.

I could not be more happy with the service I received from David, the gynaecologist, and Joan, his nurse. Both were extremely professional, explaining the procedure thoroughly and in understandable terms.

Both were lovely and put me at ease and the procedure was carried out efficiently and without fuss.

I have to say this could have been an unpleasant experience but their warmth and professionalism left me feeling like I had received a 10/10 service - thank you so much David and Joan!

Thank you for taking the time to give feedback about your recent visit to the gynaecology emergency service in ward 49.It is always lovely for the staff to receive comments like this and I will pass this on to David and Joan.

The gynaecology emergency service is a very busy service, but they endeavour to provide a personalised and professional service to all patients.I am glad you were put at ease and found everything was explained well to you.

I hope you continue to keep well.

Thank you again for the feedback.

Christine Dunn,

Senior Charge Nurse,

WARD 49.
