"Extremely professional and high quality care for our daughter"

About: Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust / Adult mental health (inpatient)

(as a parent/guardian),

To everyone in Rowan 2.

This is a short note to express our gratitude for the great care our daughter received during her stay on Rowan 2 this year.

When she arrived, she was severely ill and all members of the team - the nursing staff, the healthcare assistants, the doctors, the domestic staff, the occupational therapists, the clinical psychologist and anybody else I have failed to mention - have provided extremely professional and high quality care for our daughter. You have also been very compassionate to us, her parents, during a very difficult time for us.

For all this, thank you so much.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback. The ward was so pleased to receive your note and wanted to share it with others to give hope to other parents going through similar experiences. I was pleased to read that everyone helping your daughter also thought about how you felt as parents and treated you with compassion during a difficult time.

Rowan 2 staff team, the ward manager and the healthcare professionals who co-ordinate care always try their best to ensure everyones feelings are taken into account to deliver high quality care when people need it most.

I hope your daughter continues to recover
