"Everyone made me feel welcomed, heard and supported"

I caught Covid and my respiratory health fell off a cliff. I used to run half marathons and then I couldn’t walk up a flight of stairs.

The long Covid clinic went through all the ways I was feeling. Both physical and mental health. Then suggested exercises for me to do to slowly improve the symptoms.

They made me feel supported and less abnormal. I came to understand my symptoms and they also managed to shine light on symptoms that had affected my mental health for years before.

Everyone was very friendly and made me feel welcome, heard and supported. I’m very grateful to have used the service. The small changes have improved my quality of life so much.

I can’t say enough how much the all around support I’ve received has helped both my work, relationship and my self esteem.
