Have attended the clinic on Friday morning for blood withdrawal. Arrived at 11 but only after one hour before someone took us to the blood collection room. The clinic does not have anyone to come and the waiting room is empty. So, do not understand why they have to take one hour to have us to collect blood. When we talked to the receptionist and confirmed with her that we were here for blood withdrawal, that receptionist frowned and was highly impatient. This gave us a. Impression that she hated her employment here in this clinic but had no other job offers at the moment. We totally understand her feeling. I suggest the clinic should find someone who is willing to be employed rather than forcing someone (like the receptionist mentioned above) to work for them. In addition, when we told the receptionist that the window in the waiting room was open yet the radiator was on, she said that was totally fine. She also mentioned that she knew the energy will be wasted, but she said that she cannot care less as the energy bill will be paid by the clinic but not by her. She said that she has no obligation to help the clinic to save the energy and that the energy being wasted was not hers. I have no idea why the clinic will hire a receptionist like this. Maybe the clinic is really short of labour and hence has no choice but hire her.
