"Incredible Post Surgical Care Altnagelvin Hospital"

I arrived at the end of December for pre and post care as I was getting my gallbladder removed. I honestly couldn’t be more thankful for every member of the team. 

I was anxious to begin with as I had never had surgery before, but every single person in the Ward at Altnagelvin Hospital were so kind and professional. My surgery didn’t go as planned due to complications during operating but the care I received was exceptional from the nurses, support and care workers. In particular Aine, Jo, Christina, Will, Shannon, Finn (Finola) (even brought me a glass of Shloer on NYE and brightened up my night) Sarah Jane, Amanda, Michael, Dawn and Anand all incredibly compassionate staff. 

The professional, friendly and supportive way they carried out their duties helped me greatly and was a credit to them. I was extremely emotional after my surgery as it wasn’t the outcome I was expecting but they looked after me so well. Thank you so much. I’m not sure I would have recovered so well if it wasn’t for them.
