What I liked

I had a thyroid operation in january and was on ward F5, the staff were brilliant, and the care i received from the ent consultants before and after the operation was excellent.

I was scared before i went for the operation, but, but reassurancesi got from all the staff.

Thank you all.

What could be improved

The parking facilities should have more spaces for disabled people, also perhaps the feesshould be reduced on normal parking.

Most people are anxious before an operation so it is good to hear that you felt reassured. We're pleased that your operation and aftercare went well. We will pass on your comments about parking spaces and costs. With regard to the charges, the money raised goes back into car parking provision and improvement and would otherwise have to come from funding for patient services.
