"Great service - I can't say thank you enough"

About: General practices in Lothian

(as a service user),

I had a great experience with my GP.

I called with a problem on the last working day before Christmas 2023. I was greeted politely by the staff over the phone. Triaged wonderfully by them and referred to the quick service in Musselburgh. 

The GP over the phone listened and arranged for a prescription for some antibiotics for me. 

Great service from start to finish. I know how stretched these services are but I can't say thank you enough.

It was so encouraging to read how positive and efficient your experience was when accessing your GP and relevant services. It can be stressful to become unwell during Christmas when services are reduced due to the holidays.
