"Emergency abscess burst"

About: Glasgow Dental Hospital and School / Emergency Dental Treatment Centre Level 1 NHS 24 / NHS 24 (111 service)

(as the patient),

Called NHS 111 recently after discovering abscess was leaking from a previous broken tooth. Advised by caller that an emergency appointment was required. I was given an appointment for the next morning.

After assessment by the on call dentist an x-ray was required to check the surrounding area. If the dentist could remove the remaining tooth then she would. Tooth was removed and hopefully gum will be clear in a couple days from infection
