"I was really impressed by all the medical personnel"

My elderly uncle had a diagnostic appointment with Hannah at the Orthoptic Clinic in August 2023. He had been referred by his optician.

Hannah was extremely patient in her examination. The examination was fraught with difficulties in that my uncle has hearing problems not always resolved with a hearing aid. Also the exam consisted of quite a lot of comparison questions. E.g. which is better/clearer 1 or 2? My uncle wasn't very consistent in his responses but Hannah was thorough in getting to the crux of his diagnosis. 

I would say we probably exceeded the allocated appointment slot, but Hannah was relentless in getting a good result.

Hannah presented 3 solutions to treat his double vision and together we agreed the appropriate way to proceed via a process of elimination.

The result was that within 3 months my uncle proclaimed that the double vision was fixed.

Hannah's patience and thoroughness was undoubtedly a factor in resolving this issue. Hannah's relentlessness also meant that Consultant Mr Cartmill had more pieces to the jigsaw when diagnosing my uncles condition. 

I was really impressed by all the medical personnel we encountered that day. Superb.

Dear Lullable, Thank you for taking the time to share you and your Uncle's experience at the Orthoptic clinic. Double vision isn't the nicest thing to have and I am glad Hannah was of assistance. I will happily share your comment with her and the team
