Just before Christmas 2023 my brother was admitted to A&E as an emergency.
From his admission until he was transferred to theatre he received excellent care and treatment from the wonderful staff in this department, from the loveliest, kind, caring and professional Consultant ( apologies cannot remember his name) to the nurses, radiologist and theatre staff . It was a very worrying time for my brother and us as a family and we all just wanted to say thank you for taking great care of him. He was transferred from theatre to SHDU where the excellent care continued.
Please pass on our thanks and appreciation to the staff within these departments.

As one of the Charge Nurses within theatres, may I thank you for leaving such lovely feedback, I will ensure the team are made aware of this.
Having to come to hospital for any reason is a very daunting process, to have to come as an emergency must have been even more distressing for your brother and the extended family. I am glad his experience was positive and you were all happy with the care given.
