"Efficient, professional and supportive."

As I enter my fifth year at University, following on from a previous 5* review, I would like to reiterate my praise for the University of Sussex Health Centre.

The team of nurses and doctors are highly professional; highly experienced; friendly; efficient; caring; down to earth; completely fantastic.

Having recently suffered a bad case of Covid, the nurses and doctor were very helpful in looking into my symptoms and organising check-in calls to ensure I was recovering. I felt listened to, I felt cared for, I felt in safe hands. My condition was investigated in fine detail and I felt comfortable in managing my illness from home in regular touch with the team.

In addition to the positive, personable experience provided by the staff, the Health Centre seems to lead the way in use of technology - integrations with the nhs app, electronic prescriptions, options to send photos/videos for review, telephone appointments etc. - it all makes life a lot easier.

In what I imagine to be an environment in the nhs of ever-increasing workloads and pressure, I would like to sing my praises for the people who work so hard to provide an excellent service to the local community.

I would highly recommend the Health Centre to any fellow students and colleagues here at the University of Sussex.
