"My recent visit to A & E - pass on my gratitude"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Emergency Department

(as a service user),

I was treated promptly, courteously and with great efficiency after my unannounced arrival. All the staff I encountered at every stage of my diagnosis (which was for a large lump as a result of a recent pacemaker implant) were beyond praise, as a result I now feel absolutely fine and looking forward to Christmas.

I would be grateful if you passed on my gratitude to all who looked after me that morning. Having completed a full examination, I was sent home at 1.15 pm.  So much for all the bad publicity that A & E departments have been having in recent weeks.
