(as a relative),

Big thank you to all the staff at Altnagelvin Emergency department . My mum was admitted by ambulance and they cared for her tireless in very difficult working conditions. Stabilized her and got a space on respiratory ward after being admitted with Flu .

I was amazed to how many patients resus dealt with over night .

No bother got us to stay, even when very trying patients, relatives, very calm and professional.

My name is Michelle Scott Patient Client Experience lead for the Western trust.

Thank you for taking the time out to leave your complimentary feedback regarding Emergency Department Altnagelvin. Currently the department is facing challenging times trying to care and treat for large volume of patients who require emergency care. I have been working closely with staff in the department and responding on their behalf.

I have shared your story with all staff and have displayed the feedback within the department. The staff are very appreciative of all feedback and were delighted to hear you felt they were very calm and professional even in difficult situations. such compliments really spur staff on to continue what they do best... care.
