"Like a well-oiled machine"

About: Vale of Leven General Hospital / Acute Medical Receiving Unit

(as a service user),

I was recently taken into vol hospital by ambulance as I was severely unwell. On arrival I was quickly assessed and admitted to ward 3.

From the moment I arrived I was given all the appropriate treatment needed too help me get better all the staff from sister ,staff nurse, nurses food services and cleaners worked like a well oiled machine, all staff members were just amazing and I took comfort knowing I was in the best place ever and all my needs were met no names are needed as they all work as a team and all done amazingly.

From morning till nite I felt safe and happy I was starting too get better each day, I was in for a total of 5 days and will always remember the staff who were at my bedside this hospital has always been a lifeline to our local community and without it I don't think I would've made the recovery as quickly and smoothly, it also helped knowing my family were all close by if I needed them and didn't have too cross the water too.

The Vale of leven hospital has always been left in the dark ages at time but without it wee as locals would really suffer for the worst and at times it's not always about which hospital does what it's all about the dedication of staff and team work so for this reason the team at the VOL hospital on ward 3 are crucial and vital too each and every person.

Who arrives on the ward. I would like too thank each and everyone of them from the top of my heart and wish all members of the NHS a MERRY XMAS

Dear Geomc

I am sorry to hear that you had to be admitted to the Vale of Leven and I hope that you are feeling better. It is great to hear about the care and treatment you received from all the staff in Ward 3. Being in hospital can be a worrying time, so I am glad that the staff made you feel comfortable and safe.

It will be a pleasure to share your feedback with the team who I am sure will be delighted that their hard work and dedication has been recognised by one of their patients.

Best wishes

Nicole
