My baby was recently delivered safely by c section at MPH. The midwife caring for me was fantastic - if I recall correctly she was called Megan.

From her first introduction she was kind and compassionate, she really made me feel at ease and her calming nature was very reassuring. She communicated to us throughout and I felt very safe in her care.

Megan really ensured that my birth experience was as good as it can be and I will never forget that. Future mums will be lucky to have Megan as her midwife and I truly hope this can be fed back directly to her.

Dear Megan

Thank you so much for taking the time to send this great message when you have a lovely new baby taking your time. It means a great deal to all of us when we read personal stories of kindness and compassion. This is the basis of getting it right for you and what really matters most. Having a baby is so exciting, but can be quite scary and feeling you are safe and being listened to is so important.

I will make sure your message is passed to Megan, she will be delighted to read it and yes we are so proud to have her in our team.

Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and enjoy 2024 as you continue to love, cherish and watch your growing baby.
