"Thoroughly disappointed"

About: Occupational Therapy / Occupational Therapy - Neurology Outpatient

(as the patient),

I am thoroughly disappointed with the lack of rehabilitation available at the occupational therapy department for myself.

I believe they have not followed the NICE guidelines at all due to lack of funding and staff.  My recovery is very limited following a stroke 18 months ago. There is no point in the NICE guidelines if they cannot be delivered, in my view.  I have been told over in Angus there is much more capacity.

The staff however, have been excellent, it seems there is just a lack of resources to help me.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback regarding your disappointing experience. This is most valuable and pertinent to allow us to review our services and make improvements. I am truly sorry that your experience did meet the standards of the NICE guidance or the expectations of the service we strive to provide. I would like to support your feedback and highlight the service and team are equally disappointed and frustrated that your needs have not been met.

I would be happy to be contacted to discuss your personal circumstances and experience to support the work we continue to do in an attempt to meet the standards and guidance set out by NICE.

Thank you again for your time.
