"The care, support and treatment I received were second to none"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Endoscopy North Devon District Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as a service user),

I recently had Diverticulitis with an overnight stay in North Devon District Hospital. The care, support and treatment I received from initially ringing 111, the Out of Hours Doctor, the nurses and doctors on the Ward were second to none.  Every person I had contact with was courteous, friendly, kept me informed.

Following an appointment for a Sigmoidoscopy a few weeks later, again I can only reiterate that all the staff involved were, caring, friendly and explained what was happening and put me at my ease.

I cannot thank the doctors, nurses and everyone involved in both occasions enough.
