"All the staff deserve an award"

About: Musgrave Park Hospital / Children's Orthopaedics and biologics

(as a parent/guardian),

My son was in for surgery on his left foot, he was on the children's ward (2b). 

His experience on the ward was brilliant. All the staff deserve an award for the care and attention they give to the patients and the parents. He was completely at ease with it all. They explained everything to him in a way he understood. The kindness shown to him right up until he was discharged was brilliant.

The staff never failed to have a smile on their face or a nice word to say. 

Even the art activities the kids got to do while waiting on surgery were amazing. 

For a time which can be very stressful it was made very calming by all the staff.
