"Exceptional service from experienced and dedicated professionals"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I recently attended Queen Margaret Hospital's Ophthalmology nurse led minor ops clinic.

After checking in at reception and arriving at the clinic 20 minutes early I was greeted personally by the nurse and immediately led to where I was to have my minor op.

Checks were made, questions answered and the procedure, reasons for future actions and details of the op were fully explained and consent provided.

I was a little apprehensive beforehand but I was made to feel relaxed, comfortable and in excellent care.

The procedure was again explained in detail, from infection control, anesthetic injections and sutures.

Explanation exactly matched reality, my minor op was over quickly, I was given a detailed explanation of the aftercare I needed to undertake and how I would probably feel over the next 10 days.

Exceptional service from experienced and dedicated professionals - Thank You.

The staff will be delighted to hear that you were happy with the care you received and the level of detail that was explained that made you feel at ease. I will share this with all the team.
