"I cannot praise everyone involved in my care enough"

Although I was nervous when I arrived at Jubilee Ward NDDH I was greeted by lovely staff who did everything to reassure me about the procedure I was about to have.

I met the consultant surgeon, Mr Simms, and the anesthetist Mr Rousseau . Everything was explained to me, and Mr Simms walked with me to theatre.

The operation went well, recovery support was excellent and I was up and about as soon as I was able. At home I used the app to help my mobility improve and I was discharged with relevant medication.

It's one of the best procedures I have had, it's improved life greatly. I am now looking forward to having my right hip replacement procedure as soon as is safe to do so.

I cannot praise everyone involved in my care enough, heartfelt thanks to you all.

Thank you so much for taking the time to feedback it really helps us to know where we are at and helps us focus on how we can improve. We are delighted your experience was so positive and your mobility has improved. More recently we have been exploring how we can promote and improve the Mymobility app and encourage post operative usage.
