"Right shoulder surgery"

About: Cannock Chase Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a service user),

From the moment I was seen at reception I was extremely well looked after and the operation went as well as could be expected. The names I can remember that looked after me so well were Patience (checked me in quickly and was nice and chatty), Jenson (very chatty even though we forgot to drop my bags off before theatre), Micah (I might have got that wrong but a very polite young person who took great care of me), Josie (good fun and made me feel very relaxed before theatre), Chris (very professional in his anaesthetist duties and explained to me everything I needed to know), Kelvin (came to me before and after my op and talked me through the whole process) and Tim (thank you for operating on me and coming to see me afterwards on your way home to give me lots of information about what you'd done).

All in all as pleasurable an experience as an operation could be.
