About: New Stobhill Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as a parent/guardian),

My son attended for an ACL reconstruction procedure.

 Angela at the front desk was very warm and welcoming. 

He was clerked in by Gillian and Kelly who were so attentive. 
The team of Mr Blyth and Dr Campbell, Dr Stuart, Marion, Stephanie, Laura and Tommy were first class, couldn’t have asked for a better surgical/aesthetic team.

Nicola in recovery was amazing and made sure he was comfortable and calm.

Thank you to Adi, Kelly and Ainslie for making him feel comfortable at the end. 

Danny the physio for getting him up on his feet and out.

Thank you to all for making a young boys scary journey the most comfortable and welcoming it could be.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback on Care Opinion.

I was pleased to hear the care and treatment your son received from our staff was to a high standard and he felt well cared for.

It was great to hear how the staff took the time to welcome your son into the ward and make him feel comfortable. This must have been a huge relief.

I will be happy to pass on your thanks to the team who I'm sure will be touched to hear he had such a positive experience while under their care.

I hope your son is feeling a lot better after his procedure and is recovering well back at home.

Our staff strive to deliver excellent care and I am delighted to know that your son received this which created a calm and comfortable environment for you both, as I am sure it was a stressful time.
