"I was totally made to feel at ease to do my scan"

About: Cancer Services / Radiotherapy

(as a service user),

Recently I had an appointment with Tayside Radiographers. The Front of Desk, Bill and his colleague (I forgot her name) we’re so obliging and all times professional. Everything was explained regarding what I had to do.

I was shown through to Radiotherapy Department and I was totally made to feel at ease to do my Scan. Sadly I was full of gas, which my wife tells me I am always, and I did not meet the requirements so they have to reappoint to January 2024 which I look forward to.

I wish everyone a wonderful Holiday Season 🎉

Dear Happiness is Bliss, thank you very much for taking the time to feedback on your experience in our Radiotherapy Department. My name is Bob, one of the Support Workers who would have helped you prepare for your scan and I am glad that you felt that everything was explained well. Sadly, gas inside the body changes your internal anatomy a little which can be an issue for our planning but we will look forward to seeing you upon your return to our department.

I will pass on your kind words to the Reception staff and also to the Therapeutic Radiographers who looked after you on the day. Have a lovely festive time and we will see you in the new year.

Kind regards... Bob
