"Outpatient cardiology investigation"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Cardiology Outpatients

(as a relative),

Husband being investigated due to symptomatic palpitations.

Just a small thing, but he had to drive 20 plus miles to hand back an event recorder before travelling to same department 48 hours later for an exercise tolerance test.

Could this be coordinated better to save all these journeys?

Great care otherwise.

Dear Waxermundo, thankyou for your question and for your comment about the great care your husband has received in the Cardiology Department.

When people require to undergo several cardiology tests, we always endeavour to co-ordinate same day appointments to minimise disruption for the person. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of cardiology tests delivered, by different staff members using different pieces of equipment, it is not always possible to provide same day appointments.

Thankyou so much for your understanding.
