Just wanted to write / complain about the service received by the Buckhurst Way Hub by a patient of the River Surgery.

I have had 2 experiences last 4 weeks both ending with multiple calls back to River Surgery who I will say have been excellent in making good the circumstances.

The first appointment I got the call spoke to a very helpful and knowledgeable paramedic. My symptoms were too high and an appointment face to face was required for following day. No time given as appointments given out via text message. Checked the number and all ok.

Called Buckhurst Way Hub no answer to phones.

Call River Surgery at 330pm and they say my appointment was at 145pm no text or call so no doctor seen.

Second appointment got the call at said time detailed consultation that concluded with a course of antibiotics being prescribed. Text to be sent when prescription ready to be collected from appointed pharmacy. No text received and no prescription received at pharmacy. Nature of illness heavy chest infection for an asthmatic diabetic and in panic mode that I would not get tablets in time as pharmacy closes at 6pm.

Once again spoke to River Surgery who sent through the prescription.

Just wanted to write so you can ascertain what is going wrong with Hub support service
