"I shouldn't have had any fears"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Endoscopy

(as the patient),

My first visit to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and not one I was looking forward to. I was to have an Endoscopy to examine my gastrointestinal tract and have a cyst on my pancreas drained.

I shouldn't have had any fears. My care was exemplary from beginning to end and the doctors and nurses at the Endoscopy Unit were very good and made the procedure as comfortable as they possibly could, I cannot praise them highly enough.

Also, Nurse Rachel, you were an absolute star, thank you. Wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and safe New Year. God bless you all.
