About: Adult Mental Health Community / Family Intervention Team - County Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust / Adult mental health (inpatient)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I’d like to use this opportunity to Thank Andrea Emmens who works from Bassetlaw Hospital.

Many moons ago she encouraged me to take control of my situation. She made me realise that I needed to be the main contributor in my recovery instead of the least contributing person.

Andrea introduced me to WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Planning) this was my “Light Bulb moment” I had clarity for the first time in years. I took charge of my situation and have progressed steadily over time to become a fulltime employee within the NHS. Yes me working again! I’m just glad I had the opportunity to work with Andrea. We changed my life!

Thank you so very much for this feedback and taking the time to write it. It is a priviledge to work alongside people on the journies to recovery/discovery and I am so very pleased to hear the WRAP has helped you so much.
