"Mental health care"

About: Adult Mental Health Community / Gedling Local Mental Health Team (LMHT) The Manor Surgery

(as a service user),

I have been under the care of manor road for years and years. Since management changed, my CPN has changed at least twice a year.

I have bipolar and severe anxiety and I really struggle a lot at times. It is well documented I need structure and stability for my condition yet the way I am treated is the opposite. Currently I have no CPN again.

I was offered a CCO who won’t communicate with me, which I have raised with management. They have never responded to any email I have sent, and now aren't responding when I have asked for a meeting to try and resolve issues. I’m meant to have appointments twice a week with a CPN and I’ve just been told due to staffing levels I can’t have one?

There is a series of significant events that are going on in my life at the moment which manor road know of except one which will have a huge impact on my meds but I have no point of contact, let alone someone to talk to. I’m disgusted I’m left in this position. I have always had a CPN and it was only recently I was in hospital for a week after a significant overdose.

How is it right to withdraw support when I have always had a CPN and told I would always need one but I can’t have one now? My mental health is more delicate than ever so I will ask that someone can support me to address all of the failings I have experienced.

Dear Robyn

thanks for your response which comes as a huge shock as you have never responded to any of my emails. I would be more than happy to meet, finally.
