"Balfour hospital speech and language"

About: Balfour Hospital

(as a service user),

Got offered a video appointment for speech and language - was useless and told needed a face to face appointment but no estimate of when that would be. Feels like this is just a way of saying I have been seen and meeting a paper target, and not an effective way of assessment and treatment fir me. Felt dismissed.

I am very sorry to hear you felt dismissed by our Speech and Language Therapy team. This is disappointing to read.

Without more detail, it is difficult to provide you with a response but I would urge you to contact me on ork.feedback@nhs.scot so that we can try to help and resolve this for you.

I would hope to be able to provide you with further information in relation to waiting times and perhaps offer some further support.
