"My daughter had a positive experience"

About: Altnagelvin Area Hospital / Day Case unit

(as a parent/guardian),

My 11 year old daughter attended the Day Case Unit, Altnagelvin Hospital yesterday for teeth extraction under general anaesthetic. I would like to thank the staff members for the care and attention my daughter received.

Thank you to the Consultant Anaesthetist, the Dental Consultant Dr Devlin and the theatre nurses (particularly the nurse wearing the red xmas theatre scrub - she spoke to my daughter continuously taking her mind off what was happening whilst the anaesthetist prepared my daughter for her procedure). 

My daughter had a positive experience being in a hospital environment which can be daunting for a child of this age.
