What an amazing compliment to the team and perfect timing with the festive preparations underway in Crozier Lodge Day Centre.

First thank you for thanking the time to share your thoughts. This reassures me that the systems and processes that we have in place are working and that service users know the many ways in which they can give feedback, including through Care Opinion.

To hear you describe Crozier Lodge as your second home is wonderful. It shows that the entire team get the balance right between creating a homely atmosphere and the governance procedures we have in place to make sure that the care we provide is, safe, compassionate, effective and that the service is well led.

To know that we have a part to play in creating an environment where you can form friendships is brilliant. Friendships help to reduce loneliness and are so important for our general well-being, especially as you say that you live on your own, it is vital therefore to have opportunities in a safe place to get to be with your peers, to share your experiences and wisdom with each other. This is often an overlooked part of the provision of Day Services but it is so important.

What more can I add to the description of Crozier Lodge as ‘brilliant’ – I hope that as we move into 2024 that we can continue to work in partnership with all who come here, their families and loved ones, and build even more on this service. Your gratitude is appreciated but let me assure you, it is our privilege to know and support you. May you and the other service users always remain at the centre of everything that we do here and may we inspire others through our practice as well!
