About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Orthopaedics (Wards 10a, 10b, 10c &10d)

(as the patient),

I am currently waiting for another hip replacement under the lovely Mr Patil! I have been on a long journey with my hips. This man is the best in the business in my opinion, and is just so very wonderful in every way with his patients!!

The staff within 10A to 10D are wonderful and very hard working! Yes. the waiting times are long at the moment. However, they are doing their best under the pressure in which the NHS face as a whole at the moment!

I have received nothing but the best care at all times from all staff involved with me!! After a PAO and LTHR, I am now waiting for a RTHR and have always put my full trust in the staff! Thank you for being so wonderful and I’ll see you all again… soon hopefully!

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback on Care Opinion.

I was pleased to hear the care and treatment you've received from our staff has been to a high standard.

It was great to hear how Mr Patil and the team have been supportive and caring whenever you have visited the department. It sounds like quite the journey you have been on so to hear you have felt well cared for throughout is very heart warming.

I will be happy to pass on your thanks to the team who I'm sure will be touched to hear you've had such a positive experience while under their care.

I hope you don't need to wait much longer for your hip replacement appointment and all goes well.
