"We were so grateful for the swift response to our family crisis"

My Father was recently referred to the SHSCT Reablement Team after a period of illness and mobility issues.  The OT came out within 48 hours.  She was so caring and professional, listening to my Father and all the family and taking into consideration all of his needs and addressing our concerns.  We were so worried about my Father being on his own without anyone being there to look after him and yet he desperately wanted to regain his independence.  The OT was able to give us advice and guidance as well as arrange a rehab support package to start the next day! We were so grateful for the swift response to our family crisis and the way in which the assessment was handled to ensure my Father's needs were being met.
