My husband was sent to Heartlands via Solihull Hospital after being admitted on last week. Most of the staff I have encountered don't seem to care for the patients.
My husband went in with severe stomach pains. We have been told everyday nil by mouth because he will be having a ultrasound scan or camera put down only to wait all day then to be told so sorry you haven't been booked in. What a joke. It's so unfair to be seemingly treated differently to other patients that get everything. Also we get told 2 to a bed when then you take a good look around and other people have about 6 around their bed.
We are still waiting now again for something to be done and to find out what the hell is going on. Also my husband got told he has a bleed in his stomach but he is still laid in bed waiting to get sorted. What do we have to do to get the right treatment when you're ill?
