"Poor telephone communication"

About: New Cross Hospital

My father was admitted to a and e by ambulance on 5th Dec. Could not fault ambulance gentleman . My dad is 94 and treated him with the greatest of respect. Visited my dad same day everything fine doctors brilliant. Next day rang 30 times between a and e and admissions to find out if my dad had been moved and see how he'd been thru night. What a joke no one answered phones at all and sometimes found it must have been taken off hook. I know staff are busy but when anyone in hospital it is a worrying time and at the age of 94 I just wanted a little feedback how my dad's night went and where he was.
