"Their kindness and compassion made a very anxious time easier"

About: Ninewells Hospital / Accident & Emergency Ninewells Hospital / Acute Medical Unit (AMU) Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a relative),

My mum is in her 80s and had a small stroke recently. It was a very frightening and upsetting time. 

The care she received was outstanding. The paramedics were fantastic as were all the staff we encountered in Ninewells A&E, and then AMU.

Their kindness and compassion made a very anxious time easier, and helped my mum feel safe. 

I’m proud to work in the NHS, and am delighted to see this high standard of care particularly when working under immense pressure.
