I had this cataract operation recently. My left eye already has been operated on to save my sight from Glaucoma symptoms of sight loss. That first operation saved my sight and controlled my eye pressure. No drops going forward. However, when they did that first operation they replaced my Lens in my left eye. My prescription changed significantly ( improved) but my right eye remained very long sighted.
So a second cateract operation was undertaken and it has been an incredible result. Already my sight has improved significantly. Great care, great technical operation, and a spotless efficient cataract unit at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline.
Well done to all the surgery team and thank you to Professor Saunders and her colleague for a very competent procedure. Also thank you for the timescales that I received this treatment as I really needed my eye prescriptions balanced up. ππβ
