"I attended A&E on the day ..."

What I liked

I attended A&E on the day before New Year's Eve with a suspected broken wrist. I was very impressed with everything. All the staff were kind and helpful, and I was seen, X-rayed, plastered and seen again quite promptly.

I had to return the next day for an operation, which again was all very good. Subsequent check-ups and removal of the plaster had minimal waiting times on each occasion, which again was good.

What could be improved

The only thing which could have been improved in A&E was if i could have seen the same doctor at each stage - they would have known what the problem was, and i would not have had to explain what happened again. I think this is a common complaint.
